An alert will be send out to responsible key personnel to analyze the risk and to put an action plan in place. The 'Risk Manager' app will give you a complete overview of all your organizational risks, control measures and progress of those within a risk register. Analysis and treatment is possible on multiple levels, such as subject, risk level and department.
The 'Risk Manager' will help you, proactively, to prioritize your improvement efforts and measure results. You will even be able to link complaints, incidents and patient feedback to risk types.
Identifying risks in an early stage and preventing them from harming your organization is key in (risk)management for healthcare organizations. Now a day’s many healthcare organizations still lack a clear view of possible risks and their consequences measured in harm and loss. This might very well affect day-to-day business or end up in escalation of incidents and hazardous events. By using the 'Risk Manager' app you’ll have clear insight by using the tools of the TPSC Cloud™. You will be able to address risks in a proactive manner, create a safer environment and save money.
Phase 1: Online risk notification
Any staffmember within your organization can report a potential risk though the online 'Risk Notification Form'. Depending on the possible impact, probability and other criteria key personnel or management will be notified to take action.
Phase 2: Verify and classify
New risk files will be automatically distributed to the correct local manager, who will verify the risk matrix and classify the risk for orgainzation wide reporting.
Phase 3: Analysis and prioritization
Key personnel will be (automatically)notified to take action on the risk. By logging into the app a dashboard will show all the risk registered, including risk levels. The concerning risk file can be analyzed and the risk control(s) can be determined. Different tools are available for the analysis, like Ishikawa, process analysis and barrier analysis.
Phase 4: Improve and communicate
After having analyzed the risk, control measures can be defined, deployed and monitored. The risk can be reviewed to see if the control measure has been successfully implemented. It's like having a cockpit for risk management
The 'Risk Manager' app will give your organization the complete overview of all possible risks, regardless of its nature, financial loss, adverse publicity, clinical care and patient safety, non-compliance etc. By using the Risk Manager you’ll be able to address those risk areas in an early stage and prevent them from harming your organization, patients, employees, visitors and others.
The flexible set-up will give you the possibility to configure the app to your organizational needs. For example by adjusting the centralized workflow to a more decentralized control.
By integrating the 'Risk Manager' with other apps, like 'Credentialing', 'Complaints' and 'Adverse Events', you’ll be able to create a complete framework for Clinical Governance.
Control and eliminate your risks today. It will save you money, time and will help you to improve your quality and safety.
