  5. do seek to embed the CRMS into the whole ICT infrastructure and therefore pay special attention to connections with other systems (HL7).

The Premium is ideal for the larger hospital or health care organizations in general who do not wish to compromise their CRMS.

Does a larger investment pay off?

Improving patient safety is a critical objective and the investment in a broader system pays itself back rapidly. In a recent calculation from management consultants Ernst & Young, the investigators found from a file analyses that the avoidable cost on extra care, re-hospitalization and prolonged stay came to an amount of 1,7 million per hospital per year. By looking at the situation closer and taking also other facts (from the WHO) into consideration, they came to a staggering 14 million per year!
