We, The Patient Safety Company, respect the privacy of everyone that comes in contact with us. We process your personal data confidentially in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. This privacy statement describes how The Patient Safety Company handles personal data.

We process your personal data for contracting and deepen your relationship with The Patient Safety Company. You largely determine yourself, how far you want to extend this relationship. We use your personal data for the following purposes:
From the moment that you apply to an activity (for example a meeting, the newsletter or to request specific information), through the website, or in any other way, then The Patient Safety Company has a legitimate interest to use your data to send related, relevant information. This, until you indicate that you do no longer want to receive this information.
If your organization is a customer of The Patient Safety Company, we will process your data as a necessary part of the implementation of the rights and obligations arising from the customer-supplier relationship or because this is obliged by law.
The Patient Safety Company stores your personal data to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. Our retention period starts immediately after registration of the data and your data will be deleted when they are no longer relevant to our services.
The aforementioned terms apply unless The Patient Safety Company is obliged by law to keep personal data longer.
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check if a visitor is older than 16 years. We encourage parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without permission, please contact our data protection officer, Pardi Scheffer, at email@example.com. He will delete the information.
The Patient Safety Company does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without the intervention of a person (for example, an employee of The Patient Safety Company).
The Patient Safety Company does not sell your data to third parties and only provides them if
this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data in our order, we conclude a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.
