VvAA is a member organization and service provider for doctors, paramedics, healthcare students and healthcare institutions in The Netherlands.
VvAA was founded in 1924 as a provider of car insurances for healthcare professionals. Today VvAA offers a wide range of high-quality products and services. Members of VvAA are employed, self-employed, freelancers, students and directors of healthcare institutions. VvAA provides their individual members - but also healthcare institutions - financial, managerial and legal advice, guidance and insurance. Besides that, VvAA provides coaching, mediation, training and expert jurists or lawyers.
The unique network of VvAA members is used to influence developments in Dutch Healthcare. VvAA aims to relieve their members so they can focus on providing the best quality care.
Partnership VvAA & TPSC
In 2016 TPSC and VvAA joined forces to develop a nationwide Incident Management Platform for small healthcare institutions and freelance healthcare professionals.
The Platform includes an easy to fill in online form. Every incident reported automatically generates a document with all the necessary information and analysis. Anonymized lessons learned, trends and other content is shared with the participants each quarter. This help the participants in learning from incidents and from each other. Enabling them to deliver the best quality care.
