Facilitate implementation and evaluation of standardized patient safety solutions within a global learning community in order to achieve measurable, significant, and sustained reduction of high risk patient safety problems.
That is the mission of the High 5s Project initiated by the WHO Collaborating Centre for Patient Safety, led by the Joint Commission.
The initiative is supported by the Commonwealth Fund with several countries, like for example Australia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States of America. The intention is to include more countries.
